What is Texoma Youth Camp? 

Texoma Youth Camp, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charity with 53 beautiful acres on the white, sandy shores of Lake Texoma, just 80 minutes north of Dallas.  The camp was originally founded in the late 1940's by Boles Children’s Home, but was under-utilized for most of the 1980’s and 1990’s.

We’ve spent the past 10 years improving many outdated facilities (for example, air conditioning and renovating all buildings, making many safety improvements, and building sporting facilities and a large swim dock).  And we have returned to our original mission of providing an affordable (or free) Christian summer camp experience to under-privileged youth. 

For example, during Summer 2008, we are hosting groups focused on orphans (working with Boles Children’s Home and others), foster child transitional resource training (working with Central Dallas Ministries), and Dallas’ “southern sector” churches that need our help organizing, staffing, and funding camps for kids who would not otherwise have such an incredible opportunity.
